About Us

Our Volunteers

The MNVMRC is comprised of members of the veterinary profession.  Members include veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and the students of these professions. We currently have over 150 members on our roster.  In an actual incident, the MNVMRC will integrate with other agencies or groups who have similar missions and goals.

Our Mission
The purpose of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (MNVMRC) is to support the infrastructure of veterinary medicine in Minnesota in time of a disaster or emergency, to expand working relationships with state agencies, non-governmental organizations and neighboring states in order to facilitate a safe and efficient response to emergencies or disasters involving companion animals and animal agriculture and to develop and maintain relevant training tools for its members.
